We are recruiting an Office Manager & Senior Interior Designer and a Kitchen Designer Sales Consultant.
Work directly with the Country Manager to lead the design and delivery of projects
Take ownership of complex, high-end residential and commercial projects from concept through to installation
Create and review technical drawings for manufacturing in AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and quality control
Source and document the necessary specifications, schedules and material references
Procure bespoke items and ensure delivery of these
Lead client meetings, presentations and design approvals, acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior designers and interns
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and on-site installation teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to specification
Be responsible for various administrative tasks, such as preparing quotes, invoicing, budget management, etc.
Be willing to assist the Country Manager with any other work-related requirements
Be comfortable dealing with Clients and suppliers at a senior level
Candidate Requirements:
Tertiary Interior Design qualification
Minimum of 10 years experience as a Kitchen/Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio of completed high-end projects
Demonstrable project management experience, including managing budgets, timelines and client relationships
Experience leading and mentoring design teams
Good working knowledge of the following software programmes: Illustrator, AutoCad and Excel
Friendly and pleasing personality
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Understanding of the importance of being able to work within a team and take direction
Salary according to experience and qualifications
Senior Designer & Office Manager
Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 a month, net after taxes
(adjusted to qualifications and experience) plus commissions and benefits
Work at the showroom
Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm / 2 weekends a month
(2 days off after working a weekend)
Work beneath the Country Manager and in coordination with the Lead Designer to design projects

Candidate Requirements:

Kitchen Designer Sales Consultant Salary: R16,000 – R19,000 a month, net after taxes
(adjusted to qualifications and experience) plus commissions and benefits
