Crema Design


Crema Design is a furniture and lighting importer, with showrooms in Cape Town and Johannesburg. We represent 15 European brands and work closely with the architectural and design community to deliver projects across South Africa.

Our head office is in Cape Town, with our recently opened second showroom in Parkhurst, Johannesburg.

We require a Sales Assistant in our Johannesburg showroom. This is a part time position at present – two days a week (one being Saturday) – but could over time develop into full time.

You should be a creative problem solver, able to stand on your own two feet when alone in the showroom. Love of design is a must (we carry some of the worlds best furniture and lighting). Be organized, thorough and have great people skills.

The role includes –
 
Sales
  • Attending to customers (you will be trained extensively on our products)
  • Quoting and invoicing, and following up on previously quoted clients
  • Building relationships with new trade clients.
Showroom Management
  • General management of the space and it’s surrounds; making sure it always looks 100%
  • Reporting sales and stock figures to Cape Town
  • Window and general display ideas.
General
  • Working closely with the owner and current sales staff to grow the market in Johannesburg through various marketing and sales driven activities (events, etc).
Requirements
  • Relevant experience and/or education.
