Mid-Level Interior Designer: Minimum experience of 5 years proven work experience (Contactable references). Excellent understanding of construction and joinery. Experience in restaurant/hospitality/residential work and design would be an advantage. Candidate should be creative and have an eye for design and detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills so clients understand the vision. Undertake design project(s) from concept to completion. Must be able to produce technical drawings, joinery and details. Must be able to work both independently and with a team. Good problem solving skills in coming up with design solutions. Confidently attend and lead meetings. Efficient and organised with project planning and administration (be able to manage budgets). Must be able to conduct site visits and meetings. Partial project management experience. Must be able to work well under quick turnover times and handle pressure well. Technical skills required: Proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD and Photoshop. PowerPoint presentations. Excel spreadsheets for budget purposes.
