Marc Venter Interior Design in Parkwood, Johannesburg is looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) who will work with senior staff to provide one-to-one support by offering administrative help.
Skills Required:
Computer literacy and email management.
Articulate in written and verbal communication.
You must be numerate with an attention to detail.
Professional discretion.
Efficiency.
Understand how to read drawings and take measurements.
Strong admin skills – knowledge of Xero is a plus.
Well-developed time management skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Solid understanding of interior design industry and projects.
Able to deal firmly and fairly with contractors, consultants and clients.
Problem solving ability.
Willingness to assist in all areas of the business as needed on a daily basis.
Drivers license and access to a car.
Must be self-motivated.
Keen interest in interior design and a willingness to follow design directives and client requests.
Good communicator, confident dealing with a wide range of clients.
Personal Assistant job description guide:
Monitoring emails and responding if required.
Preparing communications on behalf of the owner.
Answering phone calls.
Organising travel and itineraries.
Organising and planning meetings.
Taking notes and writing minutes during meetings.
Conducting or preparing any research that the reporting manager may require.
Various ad hoc requests.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 09:00 – 15:00
