Town.
These
full-time,
showroom-based
roles
are
ideal
for
interior
designers
who are
technically
strong,
detail-oriented,
and
passionate
about
premium
international
design
brands.
Poliform
Poliform
is a
leading
Italian
lifestyle
brand
specialising
in
luxury
kitchens,
wardrobes,
and
contemporary
living
systems.
Designers
within
the
Poliform
team
will
focus on
creating
refined,
high-end
interior
solutions
that
combine
architectural
precision
with
sophisticated
aesthetics.
Valcucine
Valcucine
is an
internationally
recognised
Italian
kitchen
brand,
known
for its
innovation,
sustainability,
and
advanced
ergonomic
design.
Designers
in the
Valcucine
team
will
work
with
technically
complex
products
that
require
strong
spatial
understanding,
accuracy,
and an
appreciation
for
functional,
forward-thinking
design.
Lualdi
Lualdi
is an
Italian
manufacturer
of
premium
interior
doors
and
partition
systems,
representing
the
highest
standards
of
craftsmanship
and
architectural
design.
As part
of our
Valcucine
showroom,
where
Lualdi
products
are also
showcased,
designers
will
engage
with the
brand’s
bespoke
door
solutions,
integrating
these
elements
seamlessly
into
overall
interior
compositions.
Across
all
three
brands,
Designers
will
work
closely
with
clients,
internal
teams,
and
suppliers
to
translate
briefs
into
considered
design
solutions
from
concept
development
through
to
detailed
drawings,
costing,
and
project
support.

Key
Responsibilities
Develop interior design concepts aligned with the relevant brand aesthetic and client briefs
Prepare accurate floor plans, elevations, layouts, and 3D visuals
Produce technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp
Interpret architectural drawings and coordinate with building services (electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Integrate product solutions across multiple premium brands, including Poliform, Valcucine, and Lualdi
Assist with project costing, quotations, and revisions
Support sales and project teams throughout the design and specification process
Maintain accurate project documentation and administrative records
Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work
Build strong professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Represent the brand professionally within the showroom environment
Minimum
Requirements
2 - 5 years’ experience in the interior design or related design industry
Formal qualification in Interior Design
Proficiency in:
oSketchUp 3D
oAutoCAD
oGoogle Workspace
Strong interior design sensibility with attention to:
oTechnical detail
oElevations
oFloor plans

The IID is the only professional body representing the Interior Design industry in South Africa.
