A full-time Joinery Draftsman to create detailed drawings and plans for joinery work, including shop drawings for cabinetry and bespoke furniture.
Key Responsibilities for a Joinery Draftsman:
Drafting & Designing:
1. Creating detailed shop drawings for joinery components.
2. Preparing material lists, cutting lists, and installation diagrams.
3. Utilizing Compusoft Winner software. SketchUp and company related programs.
Collaboration:
1. Working with joinery designers, interior designers, and project managers.
2. Coordinating with the production team.
3. Conducting site visits.
Quality Control & Compliance:
1. Monitoring the execution of joinery work against approved drawings.
2. Providing solutions to design challenges.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of joinery principles and practice.
Compusoft Winner Software & SketchUp: Proficiency in Winner, SketchUp and other relevant software.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve design issues.
Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in the industry.
