Regenerative Collaborative South Africa - Webinar - Mass Timber Construction Part 2
Thursday, 27 January from 16H00 till 17H30 CAT/SAST

The technical and sustainability aspects of Mass Timber Construction -  PART 2

Back by popular demand! We are hosting a sequel to the first Mass Timber Construction webinar held on 25 November 2021. Sponsored by the South African Wood Preservers Association, this event brings back the experts for a panel discussion where we will open up the floor for questions and answers from attendees.

Wood is viewed as the noblest of building materials thanks to the biophilic properties it inherently possesses. In some parts of the planet, it's been seen to be a carbon smart material. Arguably, in comparison with concrete and virgin steel construction, mass timber construction is claimed to significantly reduce a building's carbon footprint. Mass Timber Construction could be a relatively new method of construction in South Africa.

0.1 Category 1 CPD points for SACAP and ECSA Members.
