Dynamic company seeks a Senior Sales Consultant on a full-time basis for a manufacturing and joinery business.
A Client Experience Consultant (senior sales and project management consultant) is responsible for leading clients through a journey from initial contact through brief meetings, design development and on site to project completion. They handle all client liaison, general project management and ensuring our clients receive excellent service in all aspects of the project.
They are expected to hit sales targets as well as handle negotiations with clients. Each consultant manages multiple projects in various phases at one time and will work alongside a design consultant, a production manager and a site manager.
There is potential for growth within the company and the group for a strong leader with a proven track record.
Requirements:
3-5 year’s minimum experience in a client facing and sales position in a high end market
Strong project management skills and experience
Strong negotiation skills and experience for client and suppliers interactions
Strong understanding of numbers to lead negotiations, understand costings and profit margins
Proven sales background. Targets expectations will be set
Experience in joinery/design industry preferable, but for the right candidate we are willing to train in this field
Valid driver’s licence, own transport and own cell phone. Expenses will be paid
Experience in managing various subcontractors on building sites
Experience in liaising with other trades/professionals
Ability to work in a complex multi-cultural environment
Displays above average leadership skills and mentoring capabilities
Able to set and achieve deadlines and give regular updates on progress
Good levels of communication and easy to work with
High accuracy levels in decision making
Able to manage confidential information
Able to remain calm and work in pressurised environments
Demonstrate initiative and be proactive towards daily tasks
Able to build good relationships at all levels both internally and externally
Willing to put in extra hours when needed, willing to go the extra mile
Flexible within a fast paced, ever changing environment
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
Good, vibrant attitude and committed to being a team player
Energetic, outgoing personality, adaptable to different client needs
Driven by team incentives
Good references from more than one previous employer
Forward thinker, problem solver, solution driven, possess good judgement
Strong communications skills on all platforms – email, phone, face to face
Experience in working in stressful work environments and handle high volume of projects and tasks at once
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
Highly organised, committed to process and strong on administration tasks as well as client interaction. Success in this role requires excellence in both fields
Good time management and efficient
Candidates are required to have a basic understanding of joinery and architecture including services (plumbing, electrical etc)
