Tonic - Showroom Assistant - Kramerville, Sandton


We are an interior-architectural design studio specialised in designing custom and limited edition product and furniture, as well as showcasing a selected range of imported product and contemporary fine art pieces.

We are looking for a Showroom Assistant to handle Sales, Admin and Interior Design.

Scope:
 
Sales
  • Good communication skills
  • Good knowledge of fabrics
  • Good understanding of local and international design
  • Goal driven
  • A custodian of good taste.
Admin
  • Good organizational skills required
  • Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, email etc)
  • Basic knowledge of Quick Books an advantage
  • Assisting showroom manager with:
    • Quotations
    • Invoicing
    • Purchase orders to suppliers
    • Overseeing production and quality control
    • Organizing deliveries and installations.
Interior Design
  • Client interaction
  • Confident in putting schemes together for residential interiors
  • Basic CAD and presentation skills preferable
  • Knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign an advantage.
